Freya 14-10-2020 03:05I just had an idea today while I was transforming gems to precious dust. I always thought it had something to do with precious dust because my main got it after sending in a bunch, then I went on my alt, converted a bunch of gems to lengendary, crushed them to dust, handed in 200, and BAM 3hrs later my alt had it too.

But that theory was disproven as multiple of us have tried that method since then and NOTHING.

Today as I was transforming, I had a thought that maybe it had to do with the amount of CATEGORIES OF DIFFERENT GEMS you crush at one time.

Since some gems are rare and some gems are only available on certain invaders/ubers, you don't often have a gem from each category to crush.

My alt for example (because of a huge backlog and no previous SH) would have transformed a gem from probably EVERY category except maybe Learning, Training and Building. If they had just release a bunch of invaders with a variety of different gems 2 weeks ago, that would explain why a bunch of people also got the first achievements.

Jason 14-10-2020 19:51I was thinking somewhere along these same lines. As all I did that day was destroy a load of lv 6 invaders, consolidated all gems runes and materials to legendary and crushed dust and sent to sh on 2 accts, I also went into the helheim abd than jumped to jot sent a test hit and shielded using 1 (8)hr and 2 (3)day shield. Did those the same on both acct. Failed the node on my alt but passed on my main. Hit ghosts with main but not with alt. Since then I have crushed a shit ton more of dust and havent gotten a thing. I tried to reenact the same process on another alt but to no success.

Jason 14-10-2020 19:53I dont crush defense,health,off gems because I was going to save them for 2 more gear sets but since gear update i said screw it, crushed for sure 30+ of each of those 3. Not sure if that helps

I dropped and raised my shield 8 times for scouting and 3 hours later i had the acievement

Opaopa 14-10-2020 17:49Happen the same to me, I only drop shield and back again and killed a bunch of lvl6 vaders, all I did and 3hrs later got the achievement

MITUMBA 13-10-2020 11:54Its the shield. I dont know the minimum number, but I saw here that someone did 50 weeks, dropped and then put it back up.
I dropped, put it up for 50 weeks, then dropped again...then put it back at 24 hrs....
EXACTLY 3 hrs later, got it

Jeffrey Anderson 14-10-2020 18:30I did this and got level 2. Also some members of my clan also got level 2 using 50 wks of shield. One person didn't get it, but attacked a non-clan town. Everyone who got it attacked a clan town to drop shields

bluecheese 13-10-2020 18:53I have lvl2 but dont know how i did it. i tried shielding 200w for lvl3, waited 3 houers, nothing, broke it, waited 3 houers, nothing. there must be a special sequence of how things are done. doubt lvl3 is more than 200(?)

I said I put the shield up for 50 weeks and dropped it...Thats about 10 seconds game time...So yea....I think it would be possible, no?
