Groo 26-10-2020 08:30Yeah I atk a lot, so I def didnt have two 7 day shields up. Must be cumulative. I fuse gems all the time & just got lucky on lvl 1.

Rose 25-10-2020 07:24Well, I tried 5 opal, and 30+ days of shield (this was 4 days ago) and it did not succeed. So I am wondering, do I need to do more opals? Will they work, cummulatively with the 5 I already did? Or do I need to do 10 all together? Or am I just short on shields? If I dump another 30 days of shield, will that finish off step 2? Some people say you need to shield first, but maybe they just didn't shield enough?

Laura 25-10-2020 09:05Read the chart above. What level are you going for? If 2 it says 10 opal and 5 weeks shield so you clearly didnt do enough. (For level 2)

As I stated, I made the attempt several days ago. This was before the chart above was even published. So referring me to a chart that didn't exist at the time isn't helpful.

My question is: can I simply do 5 more opals to get level 2? Or do I need to do a batch of 10 all at once? And, do I need the shield up before I do them, or can I do them, then put up the shield, dump it with an attack (or spying?) (or both?) and then put it back up again. if I need to put it up again afterwards, is there a minimum I need to put up?

Given the amount of conficting information from different posters, I'm trying to figure out the best course of action, with my limited number of opals. I don't want to have to go farm a bunch more and do it all again.

Katla 25-10-2020 15:19If you do another 5 then put the correct shield then attack you should get it. I have bifrost 5 now so the system does work

Rose 25-10-2020 19:02Great, congrats. So, I currently have 10 weeks of shield on. Do I need to put on MORE shield after I fuse the gems? Or can I just fuse the gems, then dump the shield with an attack?

Also, does sending scouts instead of troops work?

JamesSheldon444 26-10-2020 20:28I've put the required shields up BEFORE fusing the games, then attack a town and re-shield with a 3-day with success. About to try it with lvl 4.

Rose 25-10-2020 19:03If I had a bunch of gems available I'd just experiment til I got the exact sequence, but I've only got 8 opals available to fuse atm.

Schlauberger 24-10-2020 18:37I got level 2 with just 5 x Opal, attack town and reshield for 12 weeks. What is written on this page is not really correct or the minimum amount of gems that need to be fused.
